Volkswagen Small SUV Concept Teased, Set to Reveal at Geneva
BANGKOK: The VW teaser for the upcoming small SUV concept from the makers of scintillating German drives is out and has already created a buzz around the automotive world. The Volkswagen Small SUV Concept is set to reveal at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show 2016 next month. It’s a fact that the company wanted to enter the small SUV segment for a while now by introducing concepts like Tiguan and T-ROC.
The wait is finally over for the VW admirers, as the first teaser image of the VW small SUV is out, whose official affirmation will take place at the auto exhibition in Geneva next month. The teaser images revealed show a yellow painted crossover sporting a pair of sleek and sharp LED headlamps with daytime running lights, square-shaped LED fog lamps and black cladding lower down the bumper that extends along the wheel arches right to the end of the vehicle. Dual tone alloy wheels are housed beneath those prominent wheel arches that add a sporty touch to the car’s profile.
The interior images of the concept aren’t out yet, but the statement from brand officials indicate the resemblance of its cabin with the recently unwrapped VW Budd-e concept who's hyped was also created in the same fashion as of this. First, the teaser image of the front was out, which was followed by the grand debut at the CES 2016. With the inclusion of innovative technologies, there were many doubts burning up in the heads of auto experts and passionates that it might never enter the production. Later, the company cleared all the uncertainties by revealing that they are planning to make it a reality soon.
According to the brand officials, it won’t get any physical switches or controls inside the cabin rather would feature multiple touchscreens. The statement from the officials read as “Volkswagen gives a realistic perspective on a completely new model series and at the same time on the future production model.”
