Thailand Motor Expo 2015- Day 8 Report, Toyota Shines with 278 Bookings
BANGKOK: Eight days have past of the sensational automotive exhibition in Thailand, whose doors were opened on 1st December 2015 with the awe-inspiring opening ceremony that was graced by the presence of high authorities, dignitaries and brand officials. The figures say it all, the brands have registered remarkable booking numbers during the course of these eight days. The motor show granted 18,469 car bookings, 2,895 motorcycle bookings and an overall bookings of 21,364 units.
The customers have shown a tremendous response towards the auto event by visiting the venue on each and every day since its start. However, the majority of bookings came on the weekend days. To be precise, Saturday recorded 4,155 cars bookings, while Sunday registered a sum of 3,952 bookings. Apart from these two days, the event saw nothing extraordinary, don't link this with superb launches and top of the world exhibition of cars and motorcycles, which were extraordinary indeed.
Only 1,918 cars were booked on the eighth day, which accounts for a 44% decline in the bookings as compared to the seventh day. Day 7 saw a total of 3,429 car bookings. Toyota has been in a habit of shining among the leaders, which is what conveys the booking figures of the motor expo 2015. Toyota registered 278 more bookings, which is followed by Honda with 252 and Mitsubishi with 216.
For the first time in eight days, Isuzu hasn't been able to manage a spot in top three. Mitsubishi takes it over with 216 bookings, while Isuzu bags just 201 bookings. The following table shows the total cars booked on the eighth day of the auto event by respective automotive brands.
