Nissan Motor (Thailand) to launch Nismo Brand in Thailand this Year

BANGKOK: Nissan Motor Co. Ltd (Thailand), a pioneer of automotive innovation and latest concepts including green vehicles, hybrid automobiles, autonomous vehicles and many more has recently officially announced that the Nismo will enter the Thailand market to further enhance the company's strength. According to Mr. Taga Numbu, President of Nissan Motor (Thailand) Co. Ltd, Nissan is aiming to strengthen the brand by the aggressive marketing in Thailand by the year 2016.

Nissan has collaborated with the brand Nismo to create an eccentric portfolio of class-leading sports cars like Nissan GT-R, which was launched at the Thailand Motor Expo 2015 last year and regarded as a car with an ultimate performance and speed. Nissan and Nismo collaborated in the year 1984 and since then they have been successfully organizing many popular motorsport activities and their great partnership can be seen at the NISMO festival, which was attended by over 30,000 visitors. The only aim behind all this is to build a strong brand in the name of Nissan.

Nissan Thailand has confirmed that they will be introducing the Nismo brand in the market by the mid-2016 and will start with the Performance Package for the Nissan's car models, which will surely enhance the sporty look of the cars. Nismo cars will be equipped with the features rich in aerodynamics along with the upgraded engines and suspension to further improve the performance and driving dynamics of the car. In addition to this, Nissan is already planning to bring Nissan X-Trail and Serena representing the brand's performance division, Nismo at the Tokyo Auto Salon this year.

In addition to the “Nissan Nismo certified Dealer”, which provides technical support to the customers, the brand is also planning to continue providing opportunities to young racers in Nissan GT Academy to become professional racers.
