Nissan Armada 2017 Breaks Out- To Debut at Chicago Auto Show 2016
BANGKOK: All-new Nissan Armada has finally seen the light, which is scheduled to debut at the upcoming Chicago Auto Show 2016 this month. The SUV looks robust, muscular and is considered to be the rebadged version of the Infiniti QX80. Nissan has been in talks from quite some time now, first with its sturdy pickup, Titan Warrior, whose concept was released earlier at the Detroit Motor Auto and then with its plans to make this athletic road machine a reality by making it enter the production line soon.
The Japanese brand has also revealed its plans of unveiling a total of 14 new customized vehicles at the Tokyo Auto Show 2016 that would certainly put the stage on fire. And now, the brand has revealed the all-new Nissan Armada that sports familiar design to that of Infiniti QX80 featuring a V-motion design front grille, sharp headlamps with LEDs, an acoustic glass windshield, sporty roof rails and rugged front & rear bumpers.
Armada interior images have also been out that shows its luxurious and roomy cabin. The cabin is graced by the presence of wood and metallic accents in addition to the range of quality features. It sports a large 8.0-inch display screen at the centre console that serves basis for navigation and audio system, a Bose entertainment system with 13 speakers and heated seats for front as well second-row passengers and a heated steering wheel. The luxury level reaches next step on its top level variant with a DVD entertainment system for rear occupants, a sunroof and a full-proof list of safety amenities.
Talking about the Armada specs, it hosts a powerful V8 5.6-litre engine capable of pumping out a max power of 390 hp, which is considerably high as compared to its previous version that churned out 317 hp. Along with a peak torque of 544 Nm, the engine is coupled to a 7-speed automatic transmission system and is also available with an optional FWD system.
