Mazda CX-5 2016 Launched in Thailand with a Base Price of THB 1.22 million

BANGKOK: The Japanese automaker has blessed the Land of Smiles with another exciting SUV named Mazda CX-5 2016 with a base price tag of THB 1.22 million, which can be regarded as the epitome of strength, style and performance. The new CX-5 comes with brand’s modern communication system, MZD CONNECT and is shielded by the i-ACTIVESENSE security that certainly stands it out of the league.

Mazda has performed exceptionally well in the recent past in Thailand with its new launches satisfying the needs and desires of the local buyers. Despite the decline in overall sales and economic slowdown in the country, the Japanese brand has outperformed by showing a steady growth. This growth is expected to grow further as Mazda estimates to sell 10% more vehicles in Thailand in 2016.

The reports of the new CX-5 launch date were out few days back and the potential buyers were waiting for the same eagerly. The stage is now set as the new CX-5 makes way to the Thai market. It is available in two fuel-efficient engine options, 2.2-litre diesel and 2.0-litre petrol engine with SkyActiv technology. The SUV comes with an option of 2WD as well as the AWD allowing the customers to choose accordingly.

Featuring a head-turning look, this SUV is available in five different colors endowing Adaptive LED headlamps, trademark Mazda trapezoidal grille and sporty fog lamps at the front while its rear end is blessed with new LED wraparound tail lamps, spoiler and black sporty bumper.

The cabin adorns a black color tone that grants the CX-5 interior an elegant look. It is further graced by the presence of silver accents across the multi-function steering wheel, door panels and dash. There is a large infotainment system with MZD CONNECT feature taking care of the passengers’ entertainment front. All the necessary controls are easily reachable to driver allowing him to concentrate on the road while driving.
