Know What Hyundai Booth Holds For You at BMS 2016?
BANGKOK: Hyundai Thailand has arrived with full preparation in this year's Bangkok International Motor Show. The Hyundai dedicated arena at BMS houses some great creations that apart from looking stylish, holds a great potential to earn good sales figure for Hyundai. To the list are included three such cars of which one is a high-end sedan and the other two are luxury ridden vans. All the three cars were recently launched in the Thai market, with their BMS 2016 showcasing giving you a chance to have a closer look at each.
All-New Hyundai Elantra
It was only in December 2015 that Hyundai launched the Sports Edition trim of its high-end luxurious sedan Elantra. The car is considered as a tough rival to the likes of Chevrolet Cruze and Toyota Corolla Altis. On every aspect ranging from its exterior to under hood specs, all has been modified for good. The one launched at the ongoing auto show housed a 1.8L In-line 4CYL DOHC 16V D-CVVT VIS mill that generates a maximum power output of 150 PS at 6500 rpm along with a peak torque of 178 Nm at 4700 rpm. Taking about its measurement sheet, Elantra satisfies all the fronts which a sedan is expected to fulfill. Numerically, the said sheet reads 4550 mm in length, 1775 mm in width and 1445 mm in the height. On the wheelbase and ground clearance front, it reads 2700 mm and 150 mm respectively. Prominent features on the exterior and interior side include chrome finished hexagonal grille, automatic HID light guide, 17-inch alloy wheels, rear air-con vents, push start/stop button and dual-zone air conditioning.
All-new Hyundai H1 & Grand Starex
Hyundai Thailand on 10th March 2016 gave a new turn to its large vehicle lineup. This Korean automaker back then launched two cars, one each in its Top H- Star and Grand Rex lineup. The company has always dominated the large multi-purpose vehicle sales in the country and with this latest addition, the numbers are expected to go rocket high. Out of two, the all new Hyundai HI is an 11-seater, while the Starex comes with a 7-seater configuration. Both the car's mirror each on the engine front with a 2.5L 4-CLY 16V CRDi VGT turbo diesel mill resting under the hood. The said mill effortlessly gives away 177 PS and 441 Nm and is paired to a 5-speed automatic sequential shift transmission. In addition, both the cars rank high on fuel economy and performance front.
