Citroen E-Mehari- All Electric Car Ready for Sale from 2016

BANGKOK: The French automaker, Citroen is ready to bring its latest electric car to the world market, E-Mehari that's definitely aimed to take the automotive world to an another level.

The look of the Citroen concept was released at the motor show in Frankfurt and it was believed that it cannot undergo the real production phase. However, the company teamed up with the Bollore Group and the outcome is in front of us, which is a 4-seater convertible. The doubtful launch of Citroen Mehari has been made possible by the joint work between the two groups, Citroen, and Bollore and it's ready to join the list of new cars coming next year to entice the auto enthusiasts around the globe.

The resultant all-electric car packs a 30kWh Lithium Metal Polymer battery that grants it a longer range and is environment-friendly too. In city conditions, it can run utmost 124 miles or 200 Kms and possesses a top speed of 110 kmph or 68 mph.

It features a soft top that can be folded down at will, increasing the space inside the car. The incorporated battery pack can be fully re-charged in 8 hours via 16A socket, while it will take 13 hours if done on a 10A socket.

A range of customization options are available for the customers to grab, which includes flexible plastic and maintenance free bodywork wrapped in different color choices. There are 4 different body color options in addition to 2 roof and 2 cabin trim color choices. The customer can make full use of the available choices and build his/her final product accordingly.

It will be making its way to the world auto market in France by mid-2016, while other markets will witness this amazing production by the end of 2016.
