Citroen DS3 Dark Light Limited Edition Comes with Only 300 Units

BANGKOK: The French automaker, Citroen is all set to launch the special edition of DS3 named as the DS3 Dark Light Edition at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, which is unfolding its curtains from September 15, 2015. The special edition falls under the brand DS automobiles leaving aside the big name of Citroen. The company wants to make a statement in the market with a tailored version of DS3 hatchback with the aim of targeting the ones, who love doing things in a different way.

This special version of DS3 hatchback would certainly be a head-turning road beauty especially with the Perla Nera Black metallic bodywork accompanied by a new black metallic vinyl wrap along the sides of the car. Along with this, the customers would be fascinated by diamond-cut black Bellone 17-inch alloy wheels, chrome finished door handles and benchmark DS LED Vision headlamps. Inside the cabin, it features the sports seats, aluminum pedals and a black-leather pack that are good enough to delight the customers.

Under the bonnet, it is powered by a PureTech 110 3-cylinder 1.2-Litre turbocharged gasoline engine, which can bang out a maximum power output of 111 hp at 5500 rpm alongside a peak torque of 205 Nm at 1500 rpm. This engine is accompanied with a 6-speed automatic transmission system through which the power will be transmitted to the wheels of the hatchback.

However, grabbing this model will be a difficult task, as the company will only be producing 300 units of the same marked with a price tag of THB 1137196.95 or £20,795 in the UK.
