What to expect from Toyota Innova 2016?

BANGKOK: As the Benchmark is set very high with the currrent gen model of Toyota Innova , expectations will be very high for the new generation of Toyota Innova 2016. The introduction of Toyota Hilux has marked the arrival of Toyota's IMV(Innovative International Multi-purporse Vehicle) next gen Toyota Innova. Expectations from Toyota Innova 2016:

An all-new design: Leaked images of next-gen MPV shows that it has been completely revamped in terms of its styling. It is expected to come with the massive hexagonal grille in chrome finish, DRL's integrated into boxy headlights, horizontally shaped tail lights and rear quarter glass. It is also seen that it is slightly longer than the current model.

New Toyota Innova Engine: The traditional 2.5-litre diesel engine is likely to be replaced with the 2.4 litre 'GD' diesel engine capable of churning out the maximum power of 147 hp along with the peak torque of 360 Nm. This new unit will come with five-speed manual transmission and six-speed automatic transmission. With this powerful powertrain, Toyota Innova 2016 performance and efficiency is likely to go up in the level.

Advanced safety features: Though dual front airbags are standard on all variants of Innova, this Toyota Innova 2016 is equipped with more advanced safety features like side airbags, ladder framed construction to avoid the frontal crash, anti-lock braking system with electronic brakeforce distribution.
