BANGKOK: The Japanese auto manufacturer, Subaru has uplifted its barriers with its XV facelift, which is ready to enter the Thai market with refreshed looks that includes revision in front grille, headlamps and front bumper. The brand is set to launch the facelift version of the XV at the upcoming Thai Motor Expo 2015 commencing from the first week of December. Following are the things to know about the Subaru XV facelift.
Unique Styling
The faclift version of Subaru XV gets a revised front fascia with new sleek headlights, chrome adorned front grille, LED positioning lamps and the striking new fog lamps that are garnished with chrome housing. Besides this, there are exclusive 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels adding spark to the road machine.
Inside the Cabin
The interior doesn't have much to talk about as it features a rejuvenated 3-spoke steering wheel, piano black and silver dash, orange stitching and LED lighting that illuminates the cabin to perfection. A large 6.2-inch display infotainment system is included inside the car that comes with STARLINK support.
Feature List
The new Subaru XV facelift gets a range of features that are good enough to lure the potential buyers. It sports a large infotainment system with STARLINK support, bluetooth and iPod allowing the passengers to enjoy the connectivity with minimum effort. In addition to this, there is a rear view camera for better parking, multi-functional steering wheel and power LED.
Performance
The facelift version underpins a naturally aspirated four cylinder engine 2.0-litres engine under the bonnet that can bang out a maximum power output of 148 hp at 6200 rpm and a peak torque of 197 Nm at 4200 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission system or a Lineartronic CVT gearbox.
Safety Pack
Keeping safety aspect in mind, the brand has integrated STARLINK safety package that includes features like Diagnostic Alerts, Automatic Collision Notification, Monthly Vehicle Health Report, Enhanced Roadside Assistance, Lane Change Assist (LCA), SOS Emergency Assistance, Maintenance Notifications, Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA).
