BANGKOK: The automobile world of Thailand has faced a series of changes and for different automakers it has been a tough task to reclaim their market position. Here is a list of cars that have performed in a dramatic manner and have reached the list of top selling in the country.
After the debut of the new generation Toyota Vios, the sedan has received a significant response from the customers. This positive response of customers is due to the revision done in prices by the company. The new generation Vios was launched at the starting price of THB 559,000 and the kind of features it offers at this price range makes it a decent choice for the customers. Toyota is always known for its well tuned refined engine and high-quality material used for manufacturing its cars and the same is reflected in the Vios in a significant manner. These factors have resulted in a decent rise in the sales number for the company and now Vios has jumped to the 3rd position from the 5th position when compared to last year.
Mitsubishi Triton holds the third position in the fleet of the pickup truck in Thailand. It's been almost 40 years that Triton has been a part of Mitsubishi's Thailand portfolio and the famous pickup has managed to sustain the brand 's image while showing the constant increment in its sales ranking. Currently, it holds 3.4 percent of Thai auto market and holds the 6th position in the first half of 2015. This extremely practical pickup truck cost around THB 88,4407 which makes it easy to own among the competition.

Recently launched Honda HR-V made the soft corner in the heart of the Thai auto lovers and make a nice stand in the list of the top-selling cars in Thailand. Apart from its attractive body language and curves it is budget friendly too. Honda's HR-V is the highly practical compact SUV which has ample of space with updated technology and powertrain.
The starting price of HR-V is THB 890,000 and is also available in Modulo kit. After its launch, the Honda HR-V now holds 3.5 percent share and is now standing at the seventh position in the first quarter of 2015.
Due to its electrifying design and high-tech features Honda's Jazz is capable of making stong position in the growing Thailand automobile market. Honda has worked hard in manufacturing this superb, highly practical hatchback and due to which the manufacturer has got an added advantage to enhance its market reach. When compared to last year the Honda Jazz has done a dramatic job in its sales position in the country. In 2014, the Jazz had a market share of 1 percent and was ranked at 23rd position in the list of top-selling cars and with its latest generation the car has reached the 10th position in the first half of 2015. This superb car cost around THB 555000 only and with the kind of features the company is offering in the segment, it is expected that the car can gain a higher rank in the next half of the year.

Nissan has recently come up with their new generation of Navara, and just after the launch the company has received a positive response in the sales number. Nissan's Navara holds 11th position in the top selling cars list in the first half of 2015 and holds 2.5 percent of market share in the country. When compared to last year the Nissan Navara has done a significant job in enhancing the market reach of the company as the car was on 20th position last year with a market share of 1.3 percent. One can own this contemporary design pickup truck at just THB 661000 only.
